David Jonathan Hulett was born October 30, 1984. Born and raised in Buffalo, N.Y., from birth he was destined to become music. From his childhood he started out like any other future drummer, banging on pots and pans with teaspoons which deemed him the nickname "Teaspoon". David would attend church every Sunday an sit as close to the musicians section as possible, all of the interesting chords, melodies, and drum beats fascinated his ear drums, and he too wanted to make his hands and heart create these sounds. In 1998 David Jonthan Hulett graduated from P.S. 68 and was accepted to The Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing. The following freshman year David went and began learning how to read music and have a overall better appreciation for his craft and for the hard work it took to perfect it. He soon became involved in several school musicals including "West Side Story" 'Guys and Dolls" and " Little Shop of Horrors" as well as the schools jazz band where he became the 1st chair and also section leader for the Orchestra band. After Graduating in 2003 David attended Erie Community College for a short stint before being discovered by youth leader and Contemporary Christian musician Christopher Hopper while he was working in the Guitar Center music store. He began playing and touring with the group for the next five years throughout the United States in packed out churches and arenas sharing the same stage as Hilsong, Isaiah 6, and Israel Houghton. As of recently in 2008 David won the Western New York Drum Competition put on by Guitar Center. David has also worked with Bobby Jones of B.E.T. and various other artist. David believes that God is the reason for the blessings he has received and is very humble and yet diligent in his craft he also mentions often that music is a language and that everyone has something to say.
While keyboardist Jason Mohr has only been involved in music professionally since 2008, he has been fortunate enough to work with many successful recording artists including gospel singer & TV show host Dr. Bobby Jones, platinum selling R&B singer Jon B, smooth jazz saxophonist Najee, and jazz legend Roy Ayers. Jason has always expressed a great interest and love for music, even before beginning his formal training at the age of four. Studying classical piano under the direction of Steven Bianchi gave him the technical skill necessary to become an accomplished pianist.
When Jason was just seven years old, he began studying college-level music theory courses with Mir Ali and distinguished University at Buffalo professor Livingston Gearhart. By the time he entered high school, Jason’s primary musical interests had changed and he enjoyed learning all about jazz piano from Jim Beishline. Currently Jason keeps his schedule consistently full by recording and producing albums for various musicians, performing with many artists, and working as a freelance software developer
